New technology, be it in the form of a gadget or a new medical treatment, often comes with many promises. Those among us who are optimists are often thrilled by the promises future holds for us. The sixties saw a rise of predictions in future. Much of today’s technology, unimaginable back then, were envisioned by genius thinkers. This video from 1966 attempted to predict how the future would have been in 1999. While many of the features are yet to be a consumer reality, the film was an outstanding example of our inherent futuristic thinking.
